Beechdean Group, the manufacturer of Beechdean, Loseley and other key ice cream brands is pioneering an innovative and unique packaging format for the snacks category – ‘Decadent Luxury Snacks by Beechdean’.

Drawing on their stronghold in the “Out ofHome” sector servicing the Royal Albert Hall, Ambassador Theatre Groups and high-profile theatres across the country through the success of their impulse ice cream tubs; Beechdean have solved the problem of noisy packaging in theatres and events with a range of luxury snacks sourced from around the world.

The resealable tubs are filled with the perfect serve and are excellent for “on the go” snacking. The durable packaging offers “no-rustle” snacking and can be easily merchandised in a number of ways, including with branded POS.

The range has launched with four variants using the highest quality ingredients from around the world – “Chilli Rice Crackers”, “Smokey Almonds and Corn”, “Yoghurt Cranberries” and “Raisins and Peanuts” – offering sweet and savoury options for the health conscious and flavour seekers alike. The range has launched in time for Pantomime season but will also be targeted in the travel retail, hotels & bars, retail and impulse sectors.

Beechdean has been driven by their passion to deliver a moment of pleasure through fine foods and a love of flavours creating delicious ice cream using the milk from their herd of Jersey Cows since 1989, initially delivering to local theatres and restaurants by hand.

The diversification into snacking highlights the continued rapid expansion of Beechdean.  Beechdean now has a capacity of 40 million litres a year with three AA BRC ice cream factories in the Chilterns, Cheshire, and Somerset. Beechdean also moved into the broader desserts arena with the acquisition of Enjays Pancakes in 2017 – a AA BRC site that produces a wide range of foodservice products.  Beechdean was recently named as one of The Grocer’s “Fast 50″ for 2017 due to the rapid expansion and diversification into the broader food category.
