QA Role - Tattenhall
This position will be based in the Production areas as part of the Quality team, working on a rotating schedule which follows:
Week One:
Monday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 3:30 pm
Week Two:
Monday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Tuesday - 10:30am - 7:00pm
Rotating shift Each Week
Key areas of Accountability
- Routine Calibrations of probes, scales and other equipment as required against schedule
- Temperature Checks
- GMP Audits to schedule
- Fabrication Audits to schedule
- Pest Control to schedule supporting 3rd party
- Lab Testing Collections including: swabs, product, water, raw materials etc
- Volumetric Checks
- Packaging Checks
- Live Traceability Checks
- Hold notice liaison with both the production and technical teams
- Alcohol Reclaim Paperwork
- Product Quality against specification including: colour, taste, inclusions (wash out tests) etc
- Metal Detection Checks
- Support the business in any additional relevant tasks
QA Skills and Experience โ Desirable
ยท Experience working within a food manufacturer, ideally ice cream/chilled
ยท Accuracy, attention to detail and numerate approach to provide data on time in the right format.
ยท Time management, be able to work on own initiative both solo and as a team.
ยท Confident, articulate and courteous communicator over the phone, face-to-face and in writing.

Salary: ยฃ26,000.00-ยฃ28,000.00 per year
