ALDI LAUNCHES RAINBOW ICE CREAM TO RAISE FUNDS FOR CHARITIES

Just in time for the warmer weather, supermarket Aldi is launching a special-edition rainbow ice cream with all profits, equivalent to 50p per tub sold, to be split between NHS Charities Together and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Made using British milk, Aldi’s Gianni’s Rainbow Ice Cream (£1.99, 1L) will be in stores across the UK from Monday 1st June. The colourful creation is made using a perfect balance of velvety vanilla ice cream and raspberry ripple flavoured ice cream and is topped with a rainbow sprinkling of hundreds and thousands.

The launch of Aldi's new Rainbow Ice Cream is part of its ongoing commitment to supporting NHS staff and volunteers. Last month, Aldi launched a limited-edition bunch of Rainbow Tulips to mark International Nurses Day, with all profits split between NHS Charities Together and Teenage Cancer Trust

Aldi provides NHS staff, alongside Police, Fire Service, social care workers, first responders and St John’s Ambulance staff with priority access to Aldi stores at all times, along with exclusive access to stores 30 minutes before normal opening times on Sundays.

Sprinkle some love this summer and pick up a tub of Aldi's Rainbow Ice Cream on your next shop.
